Laugh.
Eat.
Learn.
These three "action words" bring joy to our lives and make each day a whole lot better! They also make the perfect title for my friend Alexis' blog, which I am featuring here today as she celebrates her 1st blogiversary!
She and I "met" as SLANT BOX buddies in May and have been
long-distance friends ever since!
Creating a box full of colorful and personalized goodies for Alexis from
C. Jayne Teach this spring was great fun, and I continue to follow her store, exchange e-mails with her, pin her great classroom ideas, and read her recipes (even though I am really "challenged" in the culinary arts)!
Be sure to complete the Rafflecopter below for a chance to win $10 worth of products for your classroom from my TpT store, as well as others! Then be sure to hop over to Alexis' BLOG to find more Rafflecopters with great prizes! Her series of great giveaways started yesterday--I apologize for being LATE to the party--and ends this Saturday, July 12th! Don't delay! If you are an accomplished chef like Alexis, be sure to check out the chance to win a subscription to Food Network Magazine!
Also, if reading about Alexis' blogging journey {HERE} , as well as mine
{HERE}, inspires and interests you in wanting to start your own personal or classroom site, please leave a comment below about what you might title yours and what your content focus would be. I will then select one lucky person around
9 p.m. (Ohio time) tonight to receive a $30 blog design package from....
You can take a peek at some more of her work samples on her website {HERE}. What will impress you most is that she is only 18! She is the daughter of Shannon, a teacher-author friend of mine, and oh so talented! She is also very patient with persnickety and slightly absent-minded teacher-authors like me!
As always, thanks for stopping by and helping me "pay it forward!" May you find that peaceful , easy feeling that comes from doing things that make your heart happy!

I love the writing for the Holidays because I think it's so important to add kindness and thinking of others during our hectic Christmas celebrations. http://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/LIGHT-UP-THE-HOLIDAYS-WRITING-PROMPTS-TO-PROMOTE-CLASSROOM-KINDNESS-1011866 I love writing and combining writing with something to help them build character and think on a deeper level.
