Hello friends! I am popping in with three quick Pinterest picks that I hope will help make your holidays at home and school a little brighter!

Do you give gifts to support staff and co-teachers at your school?    These sweet treats from Ellyn's Place are sure to be a big hit!   If I received one, I think I'd just keep it as a cute decoration for my desk or windowsill!  It would also make an awesome sleigh for your Elf on a Shelf to ride on!

The elves in my classroom this year are not on shelves!  The Imagination Tree inspired me to try Kindness Elves instead, and I must say that even after only three days, "Evee" and "Snowflake" have improved attitudes and behavior in Room #2!  They bring us a good deed to do for others every day, and take turns living on different students' desks each morning and afternoon.  So far we've written thank you notes to our cafeteria staff and given kind compliments to the person sitting next to us at morning meeting.  Tomorrow they might be bringing a tiny candy canes to share with all of the teachers at our school!  You'll find a lovely list of books you can use with your own Kindness Elves (and a fun FREEBIE) over at The Primary Pack.  I'm thinking that mine might need to stay until Valentine's Day!

My search for Elf Munch recipes turned up many options, but I think I'll do the "non-cooked" version of this one from I Can Teach My Child.  I plan to make more of a "trail mix" for a special holiday snack for my students, and am thinking of substituting milk chocolate for the peppermint M & M's, and possibly adding marshmallows and pretzels.  Leave ideas for other fun ingredients you might add to jazz up the recipe in the comments!
