FIVE FOR FRIDAY....SHOWING A LITTLE SCARECROW LOVE!

Apples, and pumpkins, and leaves!  Oh my!

Fall is most certainly upon us here in northwest Ohio and I absolutely adore it!
Anne Shirley sums up my feelings about the autumn season best.....

I'm happy to link up with
DOODLEBUGS TEACHING
for
FIVE FOR FRIDAY
to share two fall favorites with you this week!

These two stand watch with Rosie over my back deck!

Can you tell that my group loves cartoons, The Lego Movie and video games?

We had so much fun cutting and pasting these during project time!
These Creative Clips scarecrow faces from the September Graphics Club were a BIG hit!

KRISTA WALLDEN

A rhymed and patterned compound word poem is also included, and makes a great Reader's Theater presentation! My second graders are going to practice choral reading it and then perform for our Kindergarten friends next week!  Hooray for developing fluency and expression!

Grab it over on my Facebook page
tomorrow morning, Saturday, Oct. 4th, at 8 a.m. through Sunday evening.
Look for this tab on the left side of my posts!

Student partners can match the word cards to make compound words during literacy station rotations or for individual practice!
It's on sale for $1.00 through Sunday, Oct. 5th, and the rest of
my TpT products are all 20% off this weekend!
Click {HERE} to find this and
other fun fall-themed resources to help you
work smarter not harder!

Be sure to check out all of the other bloggers who've joined the
party!
As always, thanks for stopping by!
Be sure to do something nice for yourself this weekend!
Continue to teach your children well, hold a song in your heart, share your story, and keep smiling!
