SOCIAL MEDIA SUNDAY....

Since my upcoming school week is only two days because of Thanksgiving break, my lesson plans are DONE (and it is only 7:30 a.m. on a Sunday morning!  Woo hoo!  What a great feeling!  With so much extra "free time" on my hands today, I have decided to devote some to establishing more of an online presence and hopefully boost blog comments, tPt sales, and Facebook likes!

In three short weeks I have shared resources and ideas via two "Linky" parties where one blogger hosts a thematic post that others can add ideas and resources to.  I have created a Pinterest account and am learning to "pin it to win it" slowly but surely!  I think it is funny that I have education-related boards, pet-related boards, and party food-related boards!  I am also learning to connect with my Facebook audience (a whopping 44 followers) by asking and encouraging their response to a daily question.

Kerri, my blog designer and new best friend over at The Cutest Blog On The Block, is creating a set of social media buttons that will link directly and correctly from my site, so that should help me continue to "grow" slowly but surely!  The "Seller's Forum on tPt continues to offer daily how-to tutorials that are FREE and so very helpful to newbies like me!

All of the above gives me a great sense of accomplishment and pride!  There is a lovely spirit of fellowship and congeniality amongst the bloggers I have "met" so far.  It is lovely to be welcomed into their friendly circle, and it is gratifying to contribute!  Over time, I have learned that it is so much better to stick together!
